Unsicherheit, Zielkonflikte. Kurzfristige Vorteile und langfristige Nachteile. Harte Fakten und weiche Einflussgrössen. In komplexen Fragen zu entscheiden kann ganz schön anspruchsvoll sein.

Klar, es gibt sie, die alten Hasen, mit viel Erfahrung und einem untrüglichen Instinkt für die richtige Entscheidung. Sich auf sein Bauchgefühl zu verlassen kann durchaus erfolgreich sein. Schliesslich fallen auch wichtige Entscheidungen meist spontan. Für eine Beziehung entscheiden wir uns rein intuitiv. Und sind nicht Träume, Sehnsüchte und Leidenschaft mächtiger als jedes Strategiepapier?

Sich aber allein auf die Intuition zu verlassen greift klar zu kurz. Intuition nutzt Erfahrung, Vergangenes, und ist somit ungeeignet für grundsätzlich neue Situationen. Ein Verhaltensmuster, das vor 40‘000 Jahren in der afrikanischen Savanne erfolgreich war, taugt wenig unter den Bedingungen des modernen Berufsumfelds.

Kopf oder Bauch – diese Frage wird aus Sicht des Unternehmensberaters, der Neuropsychologin und des Simulationsexperten beleuchtet.

2011 SD Conference in Washington DC

The 2011 Internationl Conference of the System Dynamics Society was held from July 24 – 28 in Washington DC. Thanks a lot to all the members of the Swiss Chapter who participated in the Conference an represented our local branch. THANKS!
